APPS is a renowned game company, established in 2014 and based in Turkey. They specialize in the development and publication of mobile games across various genres, including Casual, Simulation, Word, and Dress Up. Their games have been downloaded over 100 million times in more than 136 countries worldwide, engaging tens of millions of players every month.

iion is a leading gametech ecosystem that bridges the gap between advertisers and gaming publishers. APPS and iion initiated their collaboration in November 2022, with the goal of boosting monetization efforts to amplifying their revenue and user engagement.

The key performance indicators (KPIs) used to measure the success of our collaboration included Average Revenue Per Daily Active User (ARPDAU) and total revenue growth.

The Solution

iion's GAM Adaptor ensured a quick integration with APPS via the AppLovin MAX mediation platform. This adaptor optimizes ad performance by channeling all demand through Google Ad Manager.

APPS conducted A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of our solution on its game, Fashion Battle, for both Android and iOS platforms. They tested our solution across the following ad formats Banners, Interstitials, and Rewarded Videos.

The Results

Our collaboration with APPS has yielded impressive results. Initially, iion was implemented with a limited number of price points across rewarded and interstitial ad formats.

However, our performance-based pricing suggestions and high level of service led to a noticeable increase in revenue, prompting APPS to expand our involvement across more campaigns and ad formats.

The initial A/B tests for the Fashion Battle game demonstrated significant increases in ARPDAU:
